Personalized Treatment
Assessment is the first step in developing a treatment plan. Our psychiatric assessment starts by listening to the concerns that brought you to our office. Throughout the assessment we will listen for themes and clusters of symptoms to develop a diagnosis.
Once we discuss the diagnosis and factors contributing to how you are feeling we will discuss the use of pharmacological interventions. Medications that are used to treat common psychiatric disorders can be very helpful, and thispractice specializes in management of these medications. We believe that communication between other providers enhances care and management of these challenging disorders; we do not communicate with anyone regarding your treatment without your consent or knowledge.
We offer Pharmacogenomic Testing, a non-invasive genetic test that looks at how your genetic makeup affects your response to psychiatric medications. Our office does not provide psychotherapy, but we collaborate with many local therapists who are able to provide excellent psychotherapy.
